The 4400 Season 2 Finale – Mommy’s Bosses

The 4400 just closed its second season with an excellent last episode. “Mommy’s Bosses” is a total cliffhanger that brings up more questions than answers and leaves us craving for season three. A long wait until Summer 2006.

The first season only consists of 6 (very intense) episodes followed by a 13 episodes spanning second season. The series evolves around 4400 people who mysteriously disappeared at different times without trace for a long period of time and are all suddenly returned in a great ball of light in a remote place near a lake. For them it is as if no time has passed at all while in fact they have been away for years. Some return to their lives they had and others are trying to pick up the pieces they left behind.

They all are changed and each 4400 possesses different special powers. To what purpose or by whom they were changed or from where or when they came is a mystery the government is determined to solve. I stumbled across this little jewel by mere accident and can recommed it to any SF fan.

  1. There are only speculations so far as to the 4400 Season 2 DVD release and the start of the 3rd season. Season 2 DVD release could be during Christmas holidays 2005. There will be reruns of already aired episodes before Season 3 starts, which should be latest Summer 2006 (June). But as I said, these are just speculations. There are no official dates yet.

  2. Guys this is really bugging me. Im for some odd reason stressing out over this. I CANT for the life of me figure out what that song was that was playing while Kyle was turning himself in at the end of the Season 2 Finale. A little help would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated!!!

  3. The song is called “This is Your Life” by Switchfoot. It’s cool.

    Lyrics Excerpt:

Yesterday is a wrinkle on your forehead
Yesterday is a promise that you’ve broken
Don’t close your eyes, don’t close your eyes,
    This is your life.
And today is all you’ve got now.
And today is all you’ve ever had.
    Don’t close your eyes.

This is your life, are you who you want to be?
